Our Mission Statement

The U.S. is at the cusp of the large-scale development of its offshore wind energy resource along its eastern seaboard. This brings great challenges and opportunities for the shared-use of our coastal waters. MOCEAN (Mission being the OCEAN) aims to support the advancement of marine and material science, engineering practice, economic models, bluetech, policy, and data-driven frameworks that will ensure healthy oceans, a strong and diverse new blue economy, and a just energy transition.
